NH voter accused of hitting election employee after poll jammed – Boston Information, Climate, Sports activities

RAYMOND, N.H. (AP) — A girl whose paper poll jammed in a tabulator machine is accused of hitting an election employee within the face who tried to take away it, giving him a bloody nostril, police stated.

The lady was voting in Raymond on Tuesday on the city’s polling middle, Holmes Gove Center College. She was charged with misdemeanor easy assault and disorderly conduct, WMUR-TV reported. She was launched on bail.

The machine rejected her poll a number of instances. The lady then folded the poll and shoved it into the machine, jamming it. When the employee tried to take away it, the lady allegedly hit him within the face and gave him a bloody nostril, the station reported. Police intervened.

It wasn’t instantly recognized if she had a lawyer.
