Vietnamese Ministry of Overseas Affairs and The Hague Academy of Worldwide Legislation signal a memorandum of understanding on coaching worldwide authorized specialists for Vietnam (Photograph: VNA)Amsterdam (VNA) – A delegation of the Ministry of Overseas Affairs led
by Assistant to the Minister Nguyen Minh Vu not too long ago paid a working journey to the
Netherlands to strengthen and promote cooperation between the Vietnamese
ministry and the The Hague Academy of Worldwide Legislation and the Everlasting Courtroom
of Arbitration (PCA).
On this event, the Vietnamese ministry and the academy signed a memorandum of understanding on coaching
worldwide authorized specialists for Vietnam.
Underneath the doc, the academy will coordinate with the Vietnamese
ministry in organising short-term coaching programmes or programs on
worldwide regulation and worldwide dispute settlement for Vietnamese specialists.
On the similar time, the Vietnamese facet will periodically nominate Vietnamese
college students to take part within the academy’s annual programs and analysis programmes.
At a gathering with PCA representatives, the 2 sides
mentioned cooperation between the PCA and Vietnam, particularly after the courtroom
formally opened its consultant workplace in Hanoi.
The ministry appreciates the efforts of
the PCA Workplace in Vietnam in 2022 and proposes the PCA Secretary-Basic to
facilitate the Hanoi workplace to have extra coaching actions on worldwide
regulation for Vietnamese ministries and sectors in 2023.
PCA Secretary-Basic Marcin Czepelak expressed his
gratitude to the ministry and others and sectors of Vietnam for
supporting the PCA workplace in Hanoi’s coaching actions. He requested Vietnam to
take part in actions to organize for the one hundred and twenty fifth anniversary of the
institution of the PCA in 2024./.
